Of Sunsets and Waterfalls
Yesterday was one of those rare days with genuine summery weather here in the North of England. Somehow just basking in the heat during the day would have ended the day too abruptly, so my friend and I went sunset chasing. A little drive up into the rolling hills, and we found the perfect spot.
Because twilight is really long here, we stopped at a waterfall on the way back. That, too, was glorious. It is busy there during the day, but late in the evening, we had all the beauty to ourselves. The darkening sky provided an almost eerie atmosphere, and the gushing water of the falls added a perfect soundtrack.
